The village is Sokoine in Singida Region. The population is 2830 and has 885 households. Currently they spend approximately 7 hours per day per household to get water (walking to the closest water source and getting a bucket of water) or 2,200,000 labor hours per year in fetching water. For donors, your ROI is 2,200,000 labor hours that can now be invested back into the community. At least half of that time is kids who will now be in school and the other half is mamas who will now be able to generate more income either through increased productivity in their agricultural activities or some micro-finance activity.
